Drones in the construction industry
Benefits
Reducing costs
The most important benefit of photogrammetric techniques and the use of drones is the minimization of costs. It can then be considerably cheaper to perform many of the necessary stages of work during the implementation of an investment.
Making work easier and more efficient
Unmanned aerial vehicles, along with other technological innovations, are streamlining and simplifying the work of construction contractors.
Closer supervision and monitoring of work progress
Monitoring and supervising construction projects has never been simpler - the photogrammetric studies we obtain show a real picture of the progress of the work and allow us to take the measurements of interest.
No need for physical presence of supervisor
The person supervising the progress of construction work does not need to be present at the construction site - photogrammetric studies (orthophotos, 3D models, numerical land cover models, dense point clouds) made available on an online platform will suffice. In this way, field work can be done in front of a computer monitor.
Thanks to periodic raids by unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras, we are able to monitor progress on the construction site easily, quickly and inexpensively. An additional advantage is the possibility of surveillance without physical presence on site, and the results can be made available online. All measurements and inspections can be performed by one person, but also by a distributed team.
Capabilities
Monitoring the progress of construction work
Regular raids using unmanned aerial vehicles equipped with high-resolution cameras allow easy, fast and inexpensive monitoring of construction work. Surveillance takes place without the need for the physical presence of the person conducting the inspections, and the results can be made available online. Measurements and inspections are carried out by one person or a distributed team.

Inventory of historic buildings
Thanks to the use of the latest technological solutions, we are able to carry out a non-invasive inventory of architectural structures. We make orthophotoplans, 3D models, dense point clouds and photographic documentation using unmanned aerial vehicles. Our services are characterized by high precision of measurements, fidelity of details, full cartometricity and speed of execution.
Inspections of completed investments
3D models and orthophotos (2D models) accurately represent the actual image of the completed project. This allows for geospatial measurements and visual inventory of the project.

Area, volume and length measurements based on orthophotos and NMPTs
Based on the dense point cloud and other photogrammetric studies, we are able to carry out measurements of interest to our clients (length, area, volume, angle of inclination).
Thermal imaging survey of buildings
Thermal imaging measurements allow us to detect heat loss in buildings - in this way we can check the thermal insulation of the property. Obtained thermograms (a photo taken with a thermal imaging camera) help determine the thermal insulation of the foundations of the house, the correctness of the insulation of the attic, the continuity and thermal insulation of the rims, the correctness of the installation and thermal insulation of windows, doors, garage doors, etc. Thermal imaging cameras are also increasingly used to look for: damage to photovoltaic panels and damage or delamination in wind turbine blades.

Making photographic or film documentation
Photo or video documentation made with the help of an unmanned aerial vehicle allows a quick, precise and non-invasive assessment of the progress of construction work, and is great advertising and promotional material. From the bird's eye view, the rendered investments look much more attractive, and many details that are not visible from the ground position can be seen.
Inventories of linear and slender objects
Using unmanned aerial systems, we are able to inspect linear objects (e.g. roads, railroads, gas pipelines) and examine the leaning of slender objects. A survey conducted in the conventional way is either more expensive or much more labor-intensive - drones are the most optimal solution in this case.

Photogrammetric product for construction projects and project maps
Photogrammetric measurements using an unmanned aerial vehicle acquire image data from a camera mounted on it. The measured object is photographed several times from different angles, and each of the images thus taken is uniquely positioned in space by giving the center of the camera coordinates. As a result of the raid, we can obtain a photogrammetric product of interest (orthophotomap, point cloud, etc.).
Development and analysis of raw photogrammetric material
More and more companies and developers are using the drone to monitor, optimize and inspect the progress of construction work and reduce related costs. However, the development and analysis of raw photogrammetric material requires specialized know-how, appropriate equipment and advanced software. For this reason, we provide analytical services that allow you to make the most of the capabilities of your drone.
